A delivery guy (traceur in passion) who used to live quite a peaceful life in the rebuilt (after the war) society.
His life was peaceful, until the sudden flood of mechanical cat-monsters. His main goal is to find his mother, who he got separated from during the chaos.
Along that path he desperately wants to figure out the current events, he gets a migrane trying to understand.
With his two "fell from the sky" companions (Cogi and Lin), he also tries his best to stop or at least slow down the destructive invasion.

At current time he is openly annoyed with everything that messes with him, as a sensitive person he just wants life to not be as terrible. Sometimes has outbursts of rage that build up cuz he continues to bottle up his deepest thoughts. He is losing more and more energy to hide how mentally drained he is by the abstract situation he found himself in. Becomes very skeptical and grumpy, when his psyche barely holds on.
Anyway he is truly sincere in his fast changing hand gesticulation and exagarated movement of the whole body. His face will always make an expression first before he talks, as he always needs a second to gather his words, sometimes giving up at all.

General:
Short silhouette with blocky shapes (head, hair, hands). Fit and with a decent muscle mass, but not the bulky type (he's more into calisthenics). Cuz he runs a lot he has prominient leg muscles (especially calves).
Outfit:
Scarfs, sweaters, two-layered clothing (t-shirt and something tight under), floaty and loose trousers for comfort in running, techwear style,
running/sports shoes also with vibrant (orange) laces. Also dresses for occassions (especially black with sparkles)

Wears an earring that belonged to his mother (ying yang with a black rectangle falling from it). Before he would wear it as a bracelet. Anyway bandages on his hands going up to the elbow. A black bag. Tons of stickers on said bag or on his face.
// Relationships
close friend. Two lost beings who got along during the weird events. Hazel met Cogi while escaping from his own city during a kotmon siege and took her with him since she didn't seem a threat and even helped him get away. They started to bond pretty quickly while roaming places none of them were too before. That one human was exactly the push Cogi needed to start her new life on Earth, she gladly chose to stand by his side and go on a path of more discovery and on stopping the destructive invasion. Hazel grew to truly care for the curious of life creature, her appreciation for little things helps him stay sane nowdays.
frienemies ig, Lin loves to annoy him, mess with him, but sorta is a "guardian angel" for both him and Cogi whether he likes it or not. Hazel isn't particulary trustful with her, and tries to bring up new and newer questions to figure out her intentions. Lin tries to calm him down in her own manner, by making a rule that for each question he needs to give her a certain energy drink.
Enemies. Vortex loves scaring him and messing with his mind, they be also throwing hands while discussing about existential shit. Hazel is one of a kind to not only get help from another cosmic being, but also become friends with the only rebellious kotmon. This ridiculous trio brought prime attention of the void demon, who found massive enjoyment in tormenting the weakest link, the human. Hazel tries his best to turn away Vortex's remarks on him and the state of the world, while she consistently brings him to a conversation.
