A traceur who used to live quite a peaceful life in the rebuilt (after the nuke war) society. Would study psychology, work at a package delivery and help his mother. Peaceful, until the sudden flood of mechanical cat-monsters. His main goal is to find his mother, who he got separated from during the chaos.
No matter what, he would never abandon running around places. One advantage of his new bitter nomadic life is that there's many sites to roam around. Jumping, climbing and sprinting is his passion and at the same time an escape from worrying thoughts, about his situation and the state of the world in general.

The glow-eye tends to be quite energetic and jokes around, even during combat. But the gathering thoughts don't make a good combination with his paranoid state of mind. He has a bad habit of bottling up his feelings, and his smile won't always come out of honesty. Thanks to his over the top thought process, ending in anxiety, he either has anger outbursts, makes impulsive decisions or ends up being half-alive, tired, done with people's bullshit. Despite his struggles, he deeply cares for the well-being of those dear to him, and tries to stay positive.

Hazel has to figure out how to survive in the cold regions of post apocalyptic Earth along with a defective bot - Cogi and a cosmic force - Lin. He can be considered the main character, but that title isn't necessarily respected by Cogi or Lin or anyone in the story. No doubt his struggles and experience are the major plot, but he is kinda just a guy who found himself in the juncture of an abstract-technological-divine-unexplained mess, and is having a hard time grasping it.
